Facial Exercises
Facial toning exercises are some of the most effective exercises that you will ever try. The truth is that facial exercises are not only good for helping you get rid of double chins, but they are ideal for helping to prevent wrinkles as well. Your facial muscles work when you talk, laugh, smile and even frown. The problem is that you only use some of your facial muscles. Facial toning exercises are wonderful for toning your face and also give you a healthy vibrant look. Facial exercises should be done on a daily basis and it is best to do them while standing in front of a mirror.

There are facial exercises that you can do for the forehead, eye, nose, mouth, chin, and neck areas. Let us begin with the forehead. First place your fingers at your hairline then press up and hold. While holding your forehead up, lift your eyebrows up and hold for ten seconds, then release. You should try to repeat this for ten repetitions at least twice a day.
Next, we will move on to one of the facial exercises for the eye area. Place your ring finger at the outer corner of each eye and gently pull up towards your hairline and hold. While holding, squeeze your eyes shut and hold for a count of ten. This will help the ‘Crows feet’ wrinkles at the corners of your eyes.
Moving onto facial exercises for the nose area, this area is a little more difficult to reach for toning. Place your middle finger at the inside corner of your eye and your ring finger on the side of the bridge of your nose. Wrinkle your nose up and pull down with your fingers at the same time. Hold this for a ten second count and repeat.
Next, for the cheek area facial exercises, place your three middle fingers onto each apple. Now, form a smile and at the same time pull your cheeks down with your three fingers. Hold for a ten second count and repeat.
Mouth facial exercises are usually the most needed and helpful. The mouth is used for eating, drinking, talking and much more throughout the day. Use your middle finger and pull down at the corners of your lips, as you pull your lip down to expose your bottom teeth try to make a pout. Repeat this ten times.
Chin facial exercises include: using your three center fingers pull down on your chin slightly, at the same time curl your lower lip over your bottom teeth. Do this exercise twice a day, ten repetitions each time.
To exercise your neck muscles with facial exercises, you must lie back with your head hanging off the edge of a bed. Slowly lift and lower your head as to strengthen the muscles on the front of the neck. When you raise your head, you need only to lift it until it is inline with your body. Do this five to ten times twice a day.
Doing these facial exercises daily can potentially save you thousands of dollars in plastic surgery later in life. It’s never too late to begin!
